Pastor and wife honored for thirty years of service

The quilt features a pattern of stars on the front. The middle star represents Pastor John and Linda; the surounding stars represent the congregation. The middle star touches the other stars, which, in turn, reach out to the other stars with the light of the word of life, represented by the gold thread. Running through the star pattern are words from Philippians 2:15-16 "You shine like stars in the universee as you hold out the word of life—in order that I may boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor for nothing."	The reverse side has hand written messages of love and encouragement.
The quilt is a tangible sign of a covering of love and prayer.	The congregation gathered around the Goyettes in prayer.
