Dustin Bell - Lead Pastor
Pastor Dustin and his family recently moved from Washington state to step in as Lead Pastor at Green Mountain Christian Center. Dustin and Rebekah have two adopted sons and a daughter who was born to them. The oldest is James, Caleb-Chase is the middle son, & Abygail is their baby girl. All three kiddos are great bundles of joy and true blessings from God. The Bell family feels called to Bennington to lead people into the very presence of the One who saves souls, restores relationships, breaks chains, and binds up the broken hearted. The Bell’s hope is that those who do, will receive Jesus’s good news of salvation. Pastor Bell’s role is to love his community, provide oversight for the church, guide people to put their trust in Jesus and his teachings in their current context, and equip Jesus followers for ministry.
These skilled, faithful, loving, people are passionate about ministry and devoted to the success and longevity of Green Mountain Christian Center. Together they prayerfully seek Jesus as they manage the facilities and partner with the lead pastor to champion the vision and mission of GMCC.
Tim & Cheri Bates - Youth Leader
Cheri and Tim Bates both embraced the Gospel of Christ as young teens. They have been married and best friends for 38 years, and have been blessed to be a part of the GMCC family for over 17 years. Tim serves as an Elder at GMCC and Cheri joins him and several other trusted volunteers in leading the Tuesday evening GMCC Youth Group. In their free time they enjoy spending time with their adult children and five amazing grandchildren, as well as working and relaxing at their home in Cambridge, NY.
Mel Letourneau- Super Church
Mel was saved by the grace of God in August of 1996 while at a campout with friends. During a time of great skepticism, pain and fear, God showed Himself by offering Mel a path to healing, salvation and deliverance. Mel has sought after God unashamedly ever since.
Recently, God has placed the young people of our church on Mel's heart, where she serves in the ministry of Super Church, with children ages 4-12. Mel also works with a wonderful team of teachers and helpers to present and show real examples of God's love and mercy to all that we meet. 3x/month we meet on Sunday mornings during church service and Mel hopes to see you and your loved ones there- please feel invited personally.
Kiomi Mumford- Nursery
Kiomi came to know Jesus as a youth, and later married her high school sweetheart, Paul, in 1999. She worked as a kindergarten paraeducator in the public school for three years, while taking Bible courses part-time. She has been a stay-at-home mom since the birth of their first child in 2003, and has been homeschooling their now six children since 2010. With the heart of an evangelist, Kiomi’s desire is to see families transformed by the power of the Gospel as they encounter God and His Word. Together, she and a team of dedicated, caring staff, seek to serve our youngest members and their families to this end, by providing a safe, nurturing, Spirit-filled atmosphere in the nursery.
Stacie Sullivan - Treasure Seekers
My name is Stacie Sullivan I thank the Lord for giving me a gift and a heart for teaching children here in Bennington, VT at Green Mountain Christian Center. I am the coordinator of our Tuesday Evening Treasure Seekers class that meets from 6:30PM-8:00PM, in conjunction with Bible Study offered by Pastor Dustin and our Church Prayer Group.
The Treasure Seekers team and I find great joy and responsibility in teaching children about the greatest treasure they will ever hear and know about- God and His Word. Each Tuesday evening an assistant teacher and I lead children in a Bible story, craft, Praise to the Lord, and we pray for one another. Most of all we have fun in learning about who God is through the study of His Word.
Proverbs 2: 1-4 states: “My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding- indeed, if you call for insight and cry aloud for understanding and if you look for it as hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God”.
I encourage families to come out on Tuesday evening Family Nights at GMCC and to seek the greatest treasure you will ever find!

The People's Pantry
GMCC's food pantry, The People's Pantry, is overseen and managed by several women in our church. It is currently open the FIRST and THIRD Friday of each month, from 4p.m. to 6p.m.
Through the generosity of our local markets and personal donations, we are able to offer meat, dairy, produce, canned goods and some personal care items to those in need. Families or individuals may utilize our pantry 2x/month.
